Gillani Acquires iristaDistribute from Irista, Inc., a subsidiary of HK Systems.

IristaDistribute offers a complete integrated software solution for today's market-leading wholesale distributor and captive distribution operations

Richardson, TX -January 11, 2002 - Gillani Consulting, Inc. and Irista, Inc. have entered into an agreement for Gillani to acquire the iristaDistribute software business. The transaction will be completed by January 22, 2002. Gillani will continue the development and support of what is currently iristaDistribute.

iristaDistribute is a complete end-to-end enterprise solution offering a unique combination of planning, execution, collaboration, and monitoring capabilities delivering extraordinary business results for its users. The product suite is comprised of several integrated modules, which can also be implemented as stand-alone products:

    Order Management
    Web-enabled Order Entry
    Inventory Management
    Advanced Planning and Replenishment
    Financial Accounting - AP, AR, GL, FA, Purchasing

Designed for companies working in diverse distribution environments, iristaDistribute is a solution set that allows distributors to better manage their operations from the point of customer order capture through product sourcing, replenishment and purchasing.

Delivered via the web, the system provides advanced order management capabilities, integrated with the replenishment system. The systems work in concert and are tied back to the financial management system, providing the basis to measure and analyze a company's performance across the various operational aspects of a distributor's business.
