Gillani Announces the Release of Endura iDistribute™ and FourGen® CASE Tools running Linux on IBM xSeries servers and IBM database software

New release adds to supported platforms and targets ROI

Richardson, TX – March 6, 2003 – Gillani Inc., a leading provider of supply chain management software, announced today the general availability of Endura iDistribute™ and the FourGen® CASE Tools on the Linux operating system.

iDistribute™ is a complete end-to-end Supply Chain Management solution. Delivered via the web, the system is comprised of Order Management, including eSCM (our Web OE, E-Commerce software), Inventory Management, Advanced Planning & Replenishment, and Purchasing modules. The distribution software is integrated with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Financial Report Writer, Budget Manager and Credit Manager modules.

The FourGen® CASE Tools, originally developed in 1983, are the cornerstone of the MBD™ (Modifiability by Design™) concept, and provide a Rapid Application Development environment for the Informix community.

“In working closely with IBM in 2003, Gillani plans to capitalize on several IBM incentives to increase it’s market-share for the iDistribute™ solution and FourGen® CASE Tools into the SMB market.” said Syed Kamal, CEO of Gillani, Inc.

“There is tremendous momentum behind Linux today.  We are committed to offering our customers the software solutions that will accelerate the acceptance of Linux.  We are pleased to see the role our business partners, like Gillani, Inc., are playing in this space utilizing IBM database software with IBM xSeries Intel processor-based servers running the Linux operating system.” said James Stallings, General Manager, Linux, IBM.

The iDistribute™ (formerly FourGen® Accounting and Endura® Enterprise) solution suite has been available on IBM’s RS/6000 platform running AIX UNIX operation system for a long time, and there are plans to continue this practice by porting to the latest AIX 5L version in 2003. Building on this existing relationship with IBM, Gillani recently utilized IBM xSeries Intel processor-based servers with Linux operating system for the Linux port of iDistribute™ - Distribution Management System including integrated Financials, and FourGen® CASE Tools – a Rapid Application Development system.

There has been tremendous interest in the marketplace for Linux solutions. With IBM’s commitment to Linux, and Gillani’s close relationship to IBM, it was a natural decision to port Gillani’s software to Linux. Although these solutions have been available on the Informix database since the mid 80’s, Gillani also expects to have the software ported to DB2 Universal Database by 3rd quarter 2003.
