Gillani builds a relationship with The North Lake College Business and Information Learning Center by becoming one of the school’s Partners, offering a way for the local business community to bring practical business tools to the Dallas County Community College environment. The iScholar - Gillani Scholars Program allows the Business and Information Technology Learning Center to access Gillani software for research and teaching. It is joined with other vendors to provide an RFID environment for the college

Richardson, Texas – October 7, 2005 – Gillani, Inc. announced today that it has expanded the iScholar - Gillani Scholars Program, designed to provide faculty and researchers at higher education institutions worldwide, with enterprise management software, and has entered into a partnership with North Lake College in Irving, TX. The agreement includes the ability for the college to offer a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) program to its students.

Now students enrolled in the Business and Information Technology Center can gain access to supply chain management software and receive training on enterprise software used in major corporations around the globe. At the same time, students can learn about and participate in the use of the latest RFID technology. “Gillani benefits from this relationship with North Lake College by being able to outsource some of our research and development work to the school’s learning teams. While giving something back to our community, it also allows exposure to Gillani Enterprise Software by community college students, who will be tomorrow’s user of these products. These trained personnel could become available to Gillani and its customers on internship or full-time basis, after graduation”, said Syed Kamal, CEO of Gillani, Inc. In addition, the program prepares students for entrance into four-year institutions anywhere in the country.

The iScholar - Gillani Scholars Program is adding the Dallas County Community College System to its list of participants forming a business partnership that will work with the school in a unique relationship designed to help meet the business education needs of companies in high-tech, worldwide competition.
