Informix 4GL to DB2 on Linux
Informix 4GL users can now run
their applications against DB2 in addition to Informix database via Gillani
Database Independence (DBI) technology.
Boston, MA – February, 15, 2005 – Gillani Inc., a leading provider of

Gillani Database Independence (DBI) technology which offers a new level of flexibility
for Informix 4GL application users by extending choice in selection
of databases offered by IBM. The same 4GL application can be compiled to run
against either Informix or DB2 database. The announcement was made at LinuxWorld Conference & Expo, being
held in Boston, MA, February 14-17, 2004.
