iUniversity

iUniversity provides complete training on Gillani’s suite of supply chain management software.  Courses have been carefully designed to provide a common focus on the underlying business processes. This means that, while not all project members take the same courses, all project members, including end users, business managers, business partners, and developers come out speaking the same language.

An Integrated Approach

iUniversity offers course options and paths that are appropriate to an individual team member’s responsibilities. Team members take only the courses they need, but all team members receive instruction in the same language, process and approach. The iUniversity knowledge curriculum is built on a 3-tier structure of program summary, program education and application/tools training.

Summary information is targeted at the broadest audience within the company. The goal of these courses or modules is to strengthen the understanding of how the systems actually operate in the life of the company, for the employees, and in the warehouse. Education courses focus on the business processes and expected people interaction with the systems (the why, who and where issues). Education courses and modules review the underlying flow of information through the business and the role of the new system within the business. Tier 3, training, narrows down on the how part of the implementation process. Training focuses on the screens, keystrokes and tools required to operate within a given process.

iUniversity courses are divided into 5 colleges by area of specialization:

  • Architecture

  • Process Flow Definition

  • Implementation Management

  • Tools

  • Product Delivery

Each college contains a series of departments by subject area.  And each department contains a list of courses as well.  All courses are described in detail in the course catalog.
