FourGenŽ Business Accounting GUI front-end, is now available for all Business accounting versions.

The original system was character-based, which has been in use since the 1980's. The FourGen Business accounting user community demanded a GUI front-end and Gillani responded. Gillani has converted the full suite to a GUI front-end. Select program screen-shots in character and GUI mode are provided on this page for all the FourGen Business Accounting modules listed below including Menu's.

FourGen Business General Ledger functionality offers user-defined defaults, accounting periods, account number ranges, and on-line data entry validations. These controls ensure early and consistent error detection, giving you access to the right information you need to make the right decisions. Comprehensive reporting capabilities include general journal listing, document detail, GL activity, trial balance, income statement, balance sheet and budget & comparison.

FourGen Business Accounts Payable functionality gives you the ability to maintain Vendor Information, run Payable Ledger and check processing as well as comprehensive reporting capabilities. Transactions can be processed in batch mode or individually as needed. The reports include vendor information, labels, terms, ledger, aging and 1099 forms.

FourGen Business Accounts Receivable module is designed to improve cash flow by providing better access to information. It provides increased productivity while maintaining a very high level of accuracy. The reports include receivable listing, documents, invoices, cash receipts, receivable journal, GL and AR activity.

FourGen Business Fixed assets gives it's users the functionality to maintain asset information, asset depreciation and asset adjustments. The reporting includes GL activity summary/detail, asset life summary, form 4562, tax preference, gain/loss and asset acquisition reports.

FourGen Business Payroll allows you to maintain employee information including employee history, wage history and time cards. It allows processing the payroll and printing of payroll checks and direct bank deposit. Very comprehensive reporting is part of the payroll system, which includes payroll analysis, GL activity, FUTA, 941, W2 and Magnetic Media reports.

FourGen Business Multicurrency module allows the user to define and maintain multiple currencies, including daily and periodic exchange rates for the system. You can also run AR, AP, OE and PO currency reports.

FourGen Business Order Entry module is very comprehensive and provides full order management capabilities including order status inquiry. Order Entry allows you to define pricing schemes for individual items or entire categories of items. Pricing matrices can be time sensitive and customer specific. All information is validated upon entry. It ensures that order processing and invoicing are performed quickly and accurately. The comprehensive reporting includes sales history reports by product, customer or salesperson.

FourGen Business Accounting Inventory Control simplifies the process of receiving, shipping, transferring, and adjusting inventory, while providing complete inventory management functionality. It provides the user with flexibility and access to the information needed to do the job right. The reports in this system include price/cost list, stock status, reorder advice, IC journal, purchase/sales history, cost valuation and inventory status.

FourGen Business Accounting Purchasing module instantly validates discount rates, vendor codes, item codes, and all other important information for error free data entry. As items are received, they are automatically updated into OE and IC modules, providing accurate inventory status information and updating backordered items properly. The reports include PO summary and detail by PO number, buyer and vendor, goods received by GL code, price change, direct ship status and purchase journal.

FourGen Business Accounting Software gives the users the capability to run the application from GUI Menu's, although users could still access the character based menu's. From the GUI Menu's, users have the option to run a program in character or GUI mode.
